Pera D'abruzzo Sauce

This tomato sauce from Tre Fratelli is a purée appreciated for its sweet and velvety taste, for the low presence of seeds and for its abundant pulp. A natural Abruzzo tomato grown near the town of Atessa, in the fertile countryside of Val Di Sangro. Pera d'Abruzzo tomatoes are carefully followed from seed to fruit and harvested at optimal ripeness. The selection is rigorous and only the best tomatoes with the right characteristics of sweetness and goodness are chosen, hand-picked and then washed.
